World Thalassemia Day 2026

On the occasion of World Thalassemia Day 2026 (8th May), JZT Pakistan successfully conducted a wide range of impactful activities across different cities, chapters and institutions of the country to raise awareness about thalassemia and promote preventive measures for a healthier future.
The day reflected the dedication, unity, and commitment of JZTeers nationwide who actively participated in awareness campaigns, seminars, blood donation drives, screening camps, and community engagement activities to strengthen the mission of a Thalassemia-Free Pakistan.

Through collective efforts, awareness campaigns, blood donation initiatives, and preventive screening advocacy, JZT Pakistan continues to stand at the forefront of the fight against thalassemia. The passion and dedication shown by volunteers, educators, professionals, and community leaders on this important day truly demonstrated that together we can create meaningful change and protect future generations from this genetic disorder.
